Our regular season : 5 dates
Paris Basketball achieved the impossible last Saturday against ASVEL, climbing to the top of the league table at the end of the final matchday. Here’s a look back at this crazy regular season in five key moments.
9 December 2025 vs Le Portel : The Race for the Top Spot
It is early in the week – on a Tuesday, to be precise – that our Parisian side have their first chance of the season to take top spot in the league. But to do so, we must overcome the hurdle of Le Portel. Buoyed by Lamar Stevens’ 10 points and 5 rebounds in under 8 minutes, Paris ran out 110-80 winners at the end of a superb US Night. The prize: the Betclic ÉLITE throne.

11 January 2026 vs ASVEL : A stunning double overtime
2026 got off to a flying start for Paris Basketball. On the court at the LDLC Arena, ASVEL quickly pulled away. So much so that at half-time, the home side were leading by… 20 points! Barely back on the court, our players switched into comeback mode. Relying on their athletic prowess, they closed the gap, drew level and even took the lead with 37 seconds remaining. The game went into overtime, where Paris continued to dominate before Villeurbanne forced a further five minutes of extra time. Jared sealed the fate of this utterly mad game with a clutch jump shot (98-93).
24 January vs Le Portel : Record-breaking victory
This date will forever be etched in the Betclic ÉLITE record books. Our away trip to Le Portel turned into a veritable rout. To give just one example, the home side didn’t score their first point until 8 minutes and 37 seconds into the second quarter – meaning Paris had already racked up a 27-0 lead. With nine players scoring 10 points or more, our Parisians came away with a sensational 120-57 victory. This is the all-time record for the largest point difference in a Betclic ÉLITE match (+63), as well as the all-time record for rebounds (62). In short: a historic match in every respect.
5 April 2026 vs Nanterre : An electric derby
Paris Basketball had a lot at stake in this Île-de-France derby. Facing a direct rival for the Betclic ÉLITE title, our team could afford virtually no mistakes against Nanterre. This hugely exciting fixture set the stage for 40 electric minutes. Fouls dictated a gruelling game for both sides. Trailing at half-time, Paris relied on a remarkable defensive display to take the lead in the third quarter. Nanterre once again turned to their three-point shooting to force a crunch time. In the midst of a raucous adidas Arena, Nadir switched to ‘Iceman’ mode to settle the outcome of this interminable match. A pivotal 96-92 victory in our push for first place.
16 May 2026 vs ASVEL : A Grand Finale
Could one dream of a better finale? At the start of this clash against ASVEL, our Parisians were sitting in third place in the league. To have any chance of finishing top, our team had to win this match and hope for defeats for both Nanterre and Monaco. However, the Villeurbanne side, chasing a podium finish, gave Paris a run for their money. Trailing midway through the third quarter, Julius Thomas’s team relied on their improved rebounding to limit their opponents’ scoring opportunities. Paris Basketball regained control of the game just as their two direct rivals were chasing the score. The teammates of a frantic Daulton broke ASVEL’s resistance in the closing stages (87-76). A storming finish that secured the title !
Now it’s time for the playoffs! A new chapter in our 2025–2026 campaign begins on Tuesday 26 May with Game 1 of the LNB Quarter-Finals. Book your ticket now by clicking right here.
