Paris shines in the French national team

A historic first! On Thursday evening, three Paris Basketball players wore the French national team jersey in the same match during Les Bleus’ narrow defeat in Serbia (90–87).

Our club is shining in the national team! Having been together since mid-August for the international break, the French national team boasts some of France’s finest players, including Nadir, Terry and Joël. With three Parisian players, Paris Basketball is the club best represented in Frédéric Fauthoux’s squad.

The campaign kicked off this Thursday at 8 pm against Nikola Jokic’s Serbia. Despite the eventual defeat (90–87), our Les Bleus held their own against the hosts from start to finish. With a combined playing time of nearly 31 minutes, our Parisian players distinguished themselves in the French backcourt.

Whilst Paris Basketball will play their first pre-season match against Orléans, our French internationals will face Serbia again before taking on Slovenia and Sweden.
