Lhiva Dahmani arrives in the capital

Lhiva Dahmani (aged 22 – 1.82m) has joined the Paris Basketball Women’s Team as a forward following strong performances in the French second division with Cavigal Nice.

Originally from Val-de-Marne, Lhiva began her basketball career in the Paris region. Moving from the Val-de-Marne (94) to the Pas-de-Calais (77), the small forward/power forward excelled in the youth ranks. Her versatile playing style attracted the attention of the region’s leading youth academies. She eventually set her sights on Villeneuve-d’Ascq, joining the club whilst it was competing in the U16 league.

These were years brimming with success, culminating in a French U20 championship title. Lhiva began her professional career in northern Alsace. Over two years, she gained experience and, above all, racked up playing time against far more experienced opposition. Her excellent form opened the doors to the French second division.

Despite limited playing time, Lhiva made her mark this season whenever she came off the bench, particularly towards the end of the season.

At just 22 years old, the Parisian is returning home with big ambitions. Her boundless energy is a major asset for Paris Basketball!
