Who will Paris face in the post-season ?

Thanks to their win against Alba Berlin on Thursday night, Paris got the job done but their future still remains uncertain. So who could be our potential opponents in the post-season? Here are the possible scenarios.

As a reminder, teams ranked 7th and 8th have a second chance to qualify for the playoffs. Teams ranked 9th and 10th have no room for error if they want to make it through.


Paris officially 6th and qualified for the playoffs if:

  • Red Star Belgrade (RSB) loses to Panathinaikos, and
  • FC Barcelona loses to Bologna, and
  • Anadolu Efes loses to Zalgiris

→ First round starting April 22 against Panathinaikos


Paris officially 7th if:

  • RSB loses to Panathinaikos, and
  • Anadolu Efes loses to Zalgiris, and
  • FC Barcelona wins against Bologna

→ Home-court advantage secured with a game against Anadolu Efes on April 15
→ If they win = qualification for the playoffs starting April 22 against Fenerbahçe
→ If they lose, home game on April 18 against either Bayern Munich or Red Star Belgrade. The winner will face Olympiakos in the first round of the playoffs.


Paris officially 8th if:

  • Anadolu Efes wins against Zalgiris, and
  • Panathinaikos wins against RSB
    OR
  • RSB wins against Panathinaikos, and
  • Bologna wins against FC Barcelona, and
  • Zalgiris wins against Anadolu Efes

→ Away game on April 15 against Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, or Anadolu Efes
→ If they win = qualification for the first round of the playoffs on April 22 against Fenerbahçe
→ If they lose, home game on April 18 against Barca, Bayern, or RSB to fight for the final ticket and face Olympiakos in the first round


Paris officially 9th if:

  • Anadolu Efes wins, and
  • RSB wins against Panathinaikos, and
  • Bologna beats FC Barcelona
    OR
  • Zalgiris beats Efes, and
  • RSB beats Panathinaikos, and
  • FC Barcelona beats Bologna

→ Home game on April 15 at the Adidas Arena against Bayern Munich or FC Barcelona
→ If they win, away game on April 18 against Anadolu Efes, Bayern, or RSB to play for the final playoff spot and face Olympiakos in the first round
→ If they lose = elimination


Paris officially 10th if:

  • Anadolu Efes beats Zalgiris, and
  • RSB wins, and
  • FC Barcelona wins against Bologna

→ Away game on April 15 against Bayern Munich
→ If they win, away game on April 18 against Real Madrid or RSB for the final playoff ticket and a matchup with Olympiakos in the first round
→ If they lose = elimination
