Bintou Moctar enters the paint

Having played in both the French First and Second Divisions, centre Bintou Moctar (aged 24 – 1.87m) is set to take the paint for Paris Basketball !

The NF1 teams had better watch out! After discovering basketball at Marne-la-Vallée BVM, Bintou’s impressive physique caught the eye of the prestigious Tango training centre. Arriving in Bourges in 2018, the centre finished runner-up in the 2019 French Under-21 Championship whilst making her international debut for France at the 2018 U16 European Championships.

During her three years with the three-time European champions, Bintou was also periodically called up to bolster the first team. It was therefore as part of the Boulangère Wonderligue squad, alongside the likes of Isabelle Yacoubou and Iliana Rupert, that our new player made her professional debut. An impressive start to her career, which continued at a lower level.

In order to gain more playing time and take on greater responsibility, Bintou moved to Aulnoye. Averaging over 15 minutes of playing time per match, she played a key role in the northern side’s rotation for nearly two years. Most recently, our centre completed another campaign in the French second division with Alençon, culminating in a run in the promotion play-offs.

Her presence under the basket will bring an extra physical dimension to Paris Basketball as we embark on our first season in NF1.

Welcome once again, Bintou!

Come to the next meeting and support us!
