A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE AT THE SENATE FOR PARTICIPANTS OF THE ONE TEAM PROGRAM

As part of the ONE TEAM program, a corporate social responsibility initiative of EuroLeague supported by the Paris Basketball Foundation, around twenty participants had the exceptional opportunity to visit the Senate on Thursday, February 27.

This event marked a new step in the club’s commitment to inclusion and civic education.

Among the visitors were several young girls accompanied by the Futbol Mas association and volunteers from the CéKeDuBonheur association, who discovered the iconic Palais du Luxembourg.

During the visit, the participants had the chance to interact with Philomène Juillet, a parliamentary assistant and member of KOP Parisii, who answered their many questions. From the creation of laws to debates in sessions, including the daily life of senators, this meeting provided valuable insight into the workings of democracy.

This day proved to be a true source of inspiration for these young people, who were able to realize the importance of civic engagement and political representation. The ONE TEAM program, which uses sports as a lever for inclusion and personal development, continues to build bridges between the court and society.

Through this initiative, the Paris Basketball Foundation reaffirms its commitment to supporting youth in their growth and access to new opportunities. A memorable experience that once again illustrates the power of sport in serving the community!
