Paris topples league leader Cholet!

In a sold-out Adidas Arena, our team defeated the Betclic ELITE leader (90-77) in a hard-fought game. A perfect way to build confidence ahead of hosting ASVEL on Thursday, January 30, in the EuroLeague.

A strong homecoming ! Facing Cholet during the Africa Game, our players delivered a top-tier performance, securing their fourth consecutive win in the championship. Under the watchful eyes of Nigerian composer CKay, Joakim Noah, and French international Bradley Barcola, the game started at full speed with six consecutive points from Nadir Hifi. The excellent entry of Maodo Lô (16 points, 4 assists) allowed us to set the pace and impose our style of play early in the game.

However, before halftime, Cholet’s sharp shooting helped them catch up. Despite an incredible alley-oop from Nadir to Bandja Sy, our opponents stayed in the fight. Bastien Vautier (14 points, 7 rebounds) leveraged his skills in the paint, and the visitors led at halftime (40-45).

A decisive second half
Once again, Maodo took charge, whether finishing at the rim or sinking long-range shots. The German world champion gave us a solid lead. T.J. Shorts II (15 points, 4 assists) added his signature floater to close the third quarter (73-65). To the delight of Bradley Barcola and Thomas Pesquet, Collin Malcolm and the rest of the team expertly controlled the final minutes.

With Mikael Jantunen performing excellently on both ends of the court (11 points, 5 rebounds) and strong long-range shooting, we secured our fourth consecutive championship victory (90-77). This win ties us with Cholet and ASVEL at the top of the standings.
