Thibault, a subscriber for 4 years : “It’s a brilliant experience”

Who better than our own supporters to tell you about the club ? Thibault, who has been a club member for four years now, has shared his Paris Basketball experience with us.

Thibault was one of our fans in attendance at our EuroLeague media day, which marked the first special season-ticket holder event of the season organised by Paris Basketball. Between an exclusive tour of the adidas Arena and a small-group chat with our players, he reflected on the reasons that prompted him to renew his season ticket :

“ This will be my fourth season as a season-ticket holder. I can’t wait for the season to start! I usually go on my own, but I do have a group of season-ticket holders I meet up with at the various matches. And several times a year I bring friends and family along… It’s a really great experience! I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who loves basketball and wants to discover something a bit different from the other sports or entertainment options in Paris. ”

A fan of the club for several years, Thibault still loves seeing the club grow every day : “ What really struck me was this rise to prominence, especially when we moved from Carpentier to the adidas Arena. It was incredible because we went from a small Parisian sports hall to an ultra-modern arena. It’s also always great to see who turns up courtside. When, for example, you see NBA players coming to watch our matches here, it really means something. We’ve moved on a bit from the small-scale Paris Basketball of a few seasons ago. It’s incredible to see the scale the club has reached in just a few years. ”

Thibault sums up the experience as follows : “ First of all, we really do play a very unconventional style of basketball. It’s very dynamic, very fast-paced – quite similar to the NBA. And then this team and these fans represent Paris. Honestly, there’s a brilliant atmosphere. ”
