No upset against Nord Alsace

One week after kicking off their league season, the Paris Basketball women’s team suffered a 52–73 defeat away at Basket Club Nord Alsace on Saturday evening.

Coming off the back of a frustrating opening day following a narrow away defeat to Franconville (61–65 after extra time), our NF2 champions were keen to bounce back ahead of their trip to the Halle Carpentier. However, a huge challenge awaited them against BC Nord Alsace.

Facing a side tipped as one of the favourites for promotion, Paris Basketball battled hard with their up-tempo style. But the game gradually turned against us. Despite showing good intent on the court, Christophe Denis’s side were unable to spring a surprise (52–73).

The Paris Basketball women’s team will make their home debut this Saturday at 8 pm at the Halle Carpentier. Facing Escaudain Porte du Hainaut, our players will need all your support. Whether with friends or family, come and watch this NF1 clash for free!
