Paris bounces back against Maccabi
For the game against Maccabi Tel Aviv, our players secured their 13th win of the season (96-83). This victory brings them back into the top 5. The focus now shifts to the upcoming week of away games.
2 out of 2 this week for Tiago Splitter and his players! Against Maccabi, currently struggling at the bottom of the standings (17th, 5 wins, 17 losses), we wrapped up this double-week with a commanding victory. Mikael Jantunen set the tone early with a big three-pointer.
Then, T.J. Shorts II connected with Kevarrius Hayes for an alley-oop, and we gained momentum from there. Yakuba Ouattara started strong, playing very aggressively, while Tyson Ward and Collin Malcolm (11 points) handled the scoring from beyond the arc. This activity, combined with numerous offensive rebounds and quick plays, put us firmly ahead at halftime (49-33).
T.J. makes more history for the club!
Despite Jaylen Hoard’s efforts (14 points, 8 rebounds) to close the gap in the third quarter, our MVP took control. With 14 assists on Thursday night, T.J. broke the club record for the most assists in a single game. Tyson continued his stellar performance (18 points, 8 rebounds), while Mika fully found his rhythm again (13 points, 3/4 on three-pointers).
To cap off the evening, Maodo Lô took care of both scoring and distributing. He became the sixth player on the team to score over 10 points tonight, a testament to the excellent ball movement. Mission accomplished for our Parisians, who won tonight (96-83) and wrapped up this double-week at the adidas arena with two crucial victories to climb the standings!
Next up is a week of away games before returning to the adidas arena on Sunday, February 26th (7 p.m.) to host Cholet, with the Africa Game on the horizon. Get your tickets now through our ticketing platform by clicking here !
