TUOMAS IISALO: “We’ve rediscovered our identity”

Coach Tuomas Iisalo was understandably delighted with his players’ performance following Saturday’s resounding 67-98 win over Nanterre. For the Finnish coach, it was a vital success for the rest of the season.

“This week, we took two giant steps forward (Hamburg in EuroCup and Nanterre in Betlic ELITE). As far as our performances are concerned, we’re obviously very positive, but that doesn’t take us away from the idea that we can and must do better. But we have to admit that we’ve got our colors and our identity back (…). The guys are hungry and want more! Basketball isn’t just a question of individuality, it’s a game of interaction. We rely on each other’s qualities, but we also have to make up for each other’s weaknesses. The lads know how to do that very well, and I’m proud of them“, stressed the Paris Basketball coach.
