Paris unbeatable in Cholet

This Sunday evening, Paris Basketball won at Cholet (77-70) in the final game of the 11th day of Betclic ELITE. The away win consolidates the Club’s position as runner-up in the standings.

The series continues

After their victory over Hapoël Tel-Aviv (114-87) at Carpentier on Tuesday evening, our Parisians were aiming for a win to continue their winning streak. In the end, mission accomplished with their eighth consecutive win on home soil.

In a well-stocked La Meilleraie arena for the reception of Paris Basketball, the game didn’t get off to the best of starts for Coach Tuomas Iisalo’s protégés. At the break, the score was 47-36 in favor of the hosts.

But this season, the Parisians never give up. Thanks to a renewed intensity of play and a strong defensive presence, with only 5 points conceded in the 3rd quarter, our players managed to catch up and regain the lead going into the final period (52-60).

The game, which had started badly, ended much better for the players from the capital, who eventually won 77-70.

Bandja Sy’s performance was particularly noteworthy, with 6 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block and 1 steal. All this in 24 minutes of play for a rating of 16.

Nadir Hifi’s team-mates will now be able to recuperate and prepare for their trip to Badalona (Spain) on Tuesday November 14. Objective: to remain unbeaten in the EuroCup.
