Après match

Our Parisians come to a halt

On Thursday evening, Paris Basketball had a difficult evening on Betclic Elite Day 5, taking on Nancy at the Palais des Sports Jean-Weille. The game ended in an 81-78 defeat. The first of the season.

A cruel scenario

The match began with a fierce battle right from the kick-off. In fact, the first half was particularly evenly balanced, with some fine moves from both teams.

But little by little, the Nancéiens managed to gain the upper hand, capitalizing on the Parisians’ defensive and offensive errors and finding scoring opportunities.

Our team battled valiantly right to the end, but spurred on by their home crowd, the Lorrainers finally prevailed with a final score of 81-78.

This defeat leaves a bitter taste in the mouths of the Parisians and their supporters, who had hoped to build on their early-season success.

A derby to bounce back

Despite losing 2 games in a row to the Metropolitans92 last year, Tuomas Iisalo’s players will be keen to reverse this trend.

At the Accor Arena, it’s sure to be a special match in front of a capacity crowd. Kick-off 7pm.
