Kick-off, and let the Classico begin

Published on October 18, 2026

It’s time for the Classico ! This Sunday at 4.30 pm, Paris Basketball take on Boulazac at the adidas arena for the most eagerly anticipated clash of Matchday 4 of the Betclic ÉLITE.

For the past month, the French basketball world has been waiting for nothing else ! The new ‘Classico’ of the French league is finally here. 10,000 residents on one side versus more than 2 million on the other. Burgundy on one side versus the capital on the other. Patrick Beverly on one side versus TJ Warren on the other. Boulazac on one side, Paris on the other.

Two clubs as different as night and day, set to treat us to a superb spectacle with an electric atmosphere.

Whether in the Super Cup or the Betclic ÉLITE, no one in France has yet managed to beat Paris Basketball. Whether it was Nadir’s incredible buzzer-beater or an offensive masterclass against Strasbourg, our Parisians are winning and putting on a show at the same time. Our opponents in the Classico are also coming off the back of a remarkable performance. Having beaten Frédéric Fauthoux’s JL Bourg, the BBD have, in fact, caused us plenty of problems in the past.

Our supporters know exactly what’s on, as evidenced by their large turnout this Sunday. The adidas arena is ready to roar in a family-friendly atmosphere !
