Our Parisians, still first!

Thanks to an ironclad defense, the club from the capital of France won comfortably (65-83) to consolidate their position at the top of the league.

With three wins in as many games, our players confirm their excellent start to the season. As usual since the start of the season, Paris Basketball took control of the game in the first quarter and controlled the pace of the first half, leading 28-44 at the Palais des Sports de Beaublanc on Saturday evening.

Led in particular by their new nugget T.J. Shorts (9 assists, 17 points), Leon Kratzer’s team-mates were also able to count on impeccable defense, preventing the CSP Limoges players from scoring for 5 min 43 seconds. Despite a few last-ditch attempts by the CSP players to get back into the game, Tuomas Iisalo’s protégés came through with flying colors (65-83).

A dream start to the season, with new recruits arriving this summer, a new coach and an ever-growing fan base. Already assured of top spot at the end of Matchday 4, the Parisians can now look ahead to an exciting week. With the Paris derby in their sights, as this prestigious encounter takes place this Sunday at the Accor Arena.

But before this show made in Paris, there’s also a first European test on the program with the reception of Vilnius this Tuesday evening at Carpentier.

Keep up to date with the latest news from the capital’s basketball club HERE, and book your tickets now for the start of the Parisians’ European adventure at the Halle Georges Carpentier on 03/10 against the BC Wolves: tickets available.
