Paris – Bourg: A Final in Sight

This Saturday, Paris Basketball has an appointment with its destiny. Facing JL Bourg, the Parisians could secure the very first French Cup final in the club’s history.

If Paris and Bercy go hand in hand, there’s a good reason for it ! This Saturday, against JL Bourg, Paris Basketball has the chance to qualify for the French Cup final for the first time in its history, which will take place on April 26th at the Accor Arena! But to achieve this, Tiago Splitter’s men will have to overcome an opponent they know well, but one that has been unpredictable lately. JL Bourg has won 6 of their last 10 games across all competitions.

After being hit by injuries, Frédéric Fauthoux’s team will be weakened heading into the Adidas Arena, missing Xavier Castaneda, the 4th top scorer in the league. However, the Burgiens should not be underestimated. Ranked 3rd for the best offense in Betclic ELITE, our Parisians will need to stay alert defensively to secure the valuable ticket to Bercy.

As for Nadir Hifi’s teammates, this match could represent a real turning point in the season. After 5 consecutive losses in all competitions, our players could restart the engine by winning on home court, building confidence before facing Milan, one of our direct competitors for the Euroleague playoffs, this Tuesday !

The match will also be marked by the return of our Parisian legend, Gauthier Denis. Unfortunately, Gauthier is injured and unavailable for this game against Bourg, but he has expressed his desire to be present, so we are counting on you to come in large numbers to give him the greatest tribute possible !

The road to Accor Arena concludes this Saturday ! So, if you want to experience the history with us, don’t hesitate and grab your tickets here !

Come to the next meeting and support us!
