The show goes on against Kaunas

The action continues at the adidas arena ! With a double-header on the cards, Paris Basketball are back in EuroLeague action this Thursday evening at 8.45 pm against Žalgiris Kaunas in their third regular-season fixture.

Ready to get excited again ? Despite Tuesday evening’s defeat against Partizan Belgrade, Grand Paris certainly set the stands alight. The dance cam, DJ, dance crew and hype team turned every time-out into a show. Then, on the court, Momo’s powerful blocks and Captain Seba’s fantastic shots sent the crowd wild. More than ever, our Parisians are determined to secure their first EuroLeague victory of the Maxime Lefèvre era.

Especially as Paris Basketball knows its opponent well. A few weeks ago, Nadir beat Žalgiris Kaunas in the dying moments of the pre-season London Lions Invitational semi-final (83–82). Since then, our team has lifted the LNB Super Cup, whilst the Lithuanian champions had racked up five consecutive wins (TCC) before their defeat on Tuesday against Olympiades (91–93). A thrilling fixture marked by the return of our former Parisian players Maodo Lô and Dustin Sleva. As an added bonus, there will be a titanic battle in the paint between former NBA star Jonas Valanciunas and our rising star Momo Faye.
