First home win for our women’s team

What a match! After a fiercely contested closing stages, the Paris Basketball women’s team secured a home victory over Escaudain Porte du Hainaut on Matchday 3 of the NF1.

There was certainly no shortage of pressure on the court at the Halle Carpentier just moments before kick-off. The first home match of the season, the quest for a first league win… A challenging situation that our women’s team managed to handle despite facing tough opposition.

This clash of styles against Escaudain Porte du Hainaut lived up to all expectations. Thanks to the support of their fans, who turned out in force for the occasion, our Parisian women managed to contain the opposition’s attacks whilst capitalising at the other end of the court. However, neither team managed to pull away as the final whistle approached. With the two sides neck and neck, Paris managed to come out on top in the final minute (76–72).

The race for promotion continues in the league! This Saturday, our Parisian women will travel to face league leaders Sceaux.
