A world tour Made in Paris

India, the USA, Lapland, Africa… Throughout this regular season, Paris Basketball has taken you on a journey to the four corners of the globe during our matches at the adidas arena.

Our 147-day world tour kicked off in South Asia on Sunday 19 October against Dijon. Luggage in hand, Paris Basketball joined in the Diwali celebrations for an afternoon. Steeped in Indian culture, the stands of the adidas arena treated our supporters to a cricket demonstration, a tuk-tuk photo opportunity, a henna tattoo stand and, above all, a traditional dance performance.

Having fully immersed themselves in these traditions, our team flew to the United States on Tuesday 9 December for the Portel match. The atmosphere of the biggest NBA arenas, Paris-style ! That was the spectacle our fans were treated to during an exceptional evening. As well as an introduction to basketball on the forecourt, workshops for making giant banners and even a barber’s corner awaited you ahead of the match, before cheerleaders and a marching band set the arena alight.

And to round off 2025 in the best possible way, Paris Basketball paid a visit to Father Christmas in Lapland for almost a week. First at the adidas Arena against Cholet, then at the Accor Arena against Red Star Belgrade, the magical atmosphere of the festive season blended perfectly with the gospel singing. Gifts and games of all kinds also added to the splendour of this Christmas Week, which was marked by victory.

Next, we head to the southern hemisphere to kick off the year in the sunshine against Nancy on Saturday 7 February. Alongside henna and braiding workshops, alloco and bissap, a troupe of karkabou dancers set the pace in the corridors of the adidas Arena. The warm-up before the show! Around Papi Del Sol’s half-time showcase, an Afrobeat dance group accompanied by djembe performances created an atmosphere like never before in the arena.

This wonderful journey came to an end on the other side of the Atlantic, in Latin America, during the home match against Gravelines-Dunkerque on Sunday 15 March. The batuqueiros and batucadas were out in force, as were the piñatas, sombreros and dominoes… Finally, the artist Yapi added to the colourful afternoon with an exceptional performance at half-time.

Now it’s time for the playoffs ! They kick off this Tuesday at 9pm with a visit from SIG. To book your ticket, head to our ticket office.
