A sense of reunion in Dubai

Paris Basketball head to Dubai this Tuesday at 5.00 pm! A star-studded Round 8 clash between the two youngest clubs in the EuroLeague.

Although Xavi Pascual’s Dubai side is based more than 5,000 km from the capital, it is by no means unknown to us. Its ranks include a host of former Monaco players: Mam Jaiteh, Jared Blossomgame and, above all, Élie Okobo! The atmosphere at the Coca-Cola Arena will be reminiscent of a French league final.

In France, our Parisians remain unbeaten in nearly seven matches (TCC). Most recently, Paris secured another victory in Roanne despite a host of absentees. Now, Tyson’s teammates are looking to replicate this form on the continental stage. This is by no means an easy task, given that they face a team that is fast becoming a new bogey team.

In two meetings, Dubai have won both encounters in this fixture. Added to this is their sparkling form in the City of Gold. The Emiratis are currently on a run of six consecutive wins, including three in the EuroLeague. Led by an imperious Mfiondu Kabengele in the paint, they are likely to give us a run for our money.

This clash will be broadcast live on beIN SPORTS and can also be followed via our social media channels.

As for the adidas arena, it’s back in action this Sunday afternoon for the Halloween Game. A spectacular show, with tickets available from €17 – just click here.
