A EuroLeague-calibre test against Kaunas

The London Lions Invitational gets underway this Thursday at 8.30 pm for Paris Basketball with a high-profile EuroLeague clash against Jonas Valančiūnas’s Žalgiris Kaunas.

The pre-season is drawing to a close! Before turning their full attention to the LNB Super Cup (19 and 20 September), Paris Basketball kick off their pre-season tournament in London today. It’s an elite-level opener, as they face Žalgiris Kaunas.

A team that has been a fixture in the EuroLeague for many years now, the Lithuanian champions are starting a new chapter following the departure of their Francisco-Wright duo. Kaunas’s star duo now consists of prolific scorer Carsen Edwards and former NBA player Jonas Valančiūnas. Our two former Parisian players, Maodo Lô and Dustin Sleva, are also part of the squad.
