Hifi : “We’ll have to stay together”

Ranked among the top 3 scorers in both the EuroLeague and Betclic ÉLITE, Nadir Hifi is excelling at Paris Basketball. Another fantastic season marked by growth, as our point guard shared with us.

The Prince of Paris is continuing his winning streak ! Irresistible last season, Nadir has since been given additional responsibilities, which he says he has managed to handle: “It happened quite naturally given my development and progress over the last few years. It was logical. And to play at the highest level, it’s important to be able to play both point guard and shooting guard. This is a transition year, and it’s working very well. It’s a position that suits me and that I’m comfortable with.”

An interesting development considering the future envisioned by our leader: “There isn’t necessarily a next step. I’m trying to focus on myself, on being the best on the court.” As soon as an opportunity arises, I’ll seize it. For now, I want to continue becoming the best basketball player I can be and help my team win.

Now, Nadir is determined to achieve great things at the end of this season: “The goal is to win the French championship; that’s all that’s left. We also used the Euroleague games to continue improving together and be ready to win the title. After that, it requires a lot of hard work and a lot of focus. It won’t be easy, but we’ll have to stick together.”

Paris Basketball will also need its fans in this final stretch, as our point guard was keen to remind us : “I want to tell them to keep supporting us the way they do. They’re doing a tremendous job. Seeing them support us at every game makes us want to be there. Thank you for your love, and I hope we bring them a title this season.”
