Paris, it’s back on!
At the adidas arena, in front of more than 6,650 fans for the 21st EuroLeague game day, our players overcame the Turkish team Anadolu Efes, reclaiming victory in this competition! The action continues in just 48 hours with the home game against Maccabi Tel-Aviv.
Paris takes down Efes! In a highly physical match, Nadir Hifi and his teammates managed to turn the tide, much to the delight of Hugo Décrypte and Mister V, who were in attendance Tuesday night at the adidas arena.
Although the game started well on offense, our players faced challenges on defense. Despite Vincent Poirier’s toughness (14 points, 11 rebounds), we gained the lead thanks to solid outside shooting. Facing his idol, Nadir quickly heated up, keeping us in the game as we headed into halftime (37-39).
The heart of a champion
In the third quarter, our second unit set the pace. Maodo Lô (3 steals) disrupted passing lanes and launched fast breaks, while Yakuba Ouattara (10 points) continued raining down points.
The game grew more intense and physical, but our players stayed resilient.
Pushed by the 6,650 fans in attendance, we found the physical and mental strength to regain control of the match. Fully focused, the entire team executed flawlessly on both ends of the court during the heated final minutes. Elijah Bryant led the charge for the Turkish side (18 points), but Mikael Jantunen sealed the game with two massive three-pointers!
