HORIZONS honoured against Real Madrid

During the pre-match build-up to Paris Basketball vs Real Madrid, 20 young people from our HORIZONS programme enjoyed a special moment at the heart of the arena.

In collaboration with the Espoir 18 association and the Euroleague’s One Team initiative, the Paris Basketball Foundation’s HORIZONS programme supports young people in the 18th arrondissement. It does so through workshops combining basketball with cultural activities.

Tuesday’s superb match against Real Madrid provided a perfect opportunity to showcase this important work

Invited to the match in advance, the young people had the opportunity to talk to a Paris Basketball player in the press conference room. Just like real journalists! This unique experience concluded with a photo on the court of the adidas arena with the programme’s basketball ambassadors. It was a powerful moment, symbolised by our court, which was decorated for the occasion in the colours of the HORIZONS programme.

These activities are part of the ongoing efforts throughout the season. After workshops on cinema and music, new chapters on design and urban art are just around the corner. The editorial line will focus on the interplay between sport and creativity.

Once again, we would like to thank our sponsor Vic Transport, without whom this operation would not have been possible. Their commitment has helped transform a pre-match event into a truly impactful experience.
