Hifi breaks the 1,000-point barrier in the EuroLeague

1,000. In just 61 games, Nadir Hifi reached the symbolic milestone of 1,000 points in the EuroLeague on Tuesday evening in front of his home crowd against Real Madrid (98-92).

The Prince of Paris has the standing of a king! Facing Real Madrid on the 25th day of the regular season, Nadir Hifi did not miss the boat. Ten seconds after coming on in the first minutes of the first quarter, our point guard eliminated Campazzo with a well-timed pick by Momo Faye, before sinking a jump shot over Tavares’ head. These two points added to his previous 998 to reach 1,000 points in the EuroLeague!

From his 12 points against Red Star on 4 October 2024 to the 21 points he scored against Real on 27 January 2026, 480 days have passed. In just over 15 months, Nadir Hifi discovered the elite of European basketball, won the Rising Star title, defeated Madrid in the play-in and stood up to the future winner of the competition in the quarter-finals. All this while averaging 16.7 points per game in 21 minutes.

Already at the start of the season, the Prince of Paris had made a lasting impression by breaking his record for points (29) and efficiency rating (31) in the competition against Baskonia on 15 October 2025. Today, the Strasbourg native is firmly established on the throne of the continent’s top scorers. The most terrifying thing about all this is that Nadir Hifi is only 23 years old!
