Paris loses its head high

Despite a thrilling finish, our Parisians lost to Le Mans (95-89) at the very end. It’s a setback that we’ll need to put behind us this Thursday when we return to the adidas arena to host Virtus Bologna.

The pace of the game ultimately proved fatal! Coming off a week of EuroLeague action, our Parisians were unable to keep up with the pace set by the home team.

Spurred on by their fans, Le Mans, led by Trevor Hudgins with 12 points in just 10 minutes, quickly took the lead. They built up a 15-point lead at the start of the second quarter. But even without its star duo of HifiRobinson, Paris remained Paris.

Rebounds, three-point shooting, intensity… Everything swung in Paris’s favour. Ahead at the start of the fourth quarter, these periods of dominance gave way to a tense money time. Unfortunately, our CAPTAIN SEBA‘s 19 points were not enough. Our Parisians bowed out with their heads held high, losing by just two possessions.

Paris Basketball will hold its head high when it faces Virtus Bologna on Thursday at 8:45 p.m. Secure your tickets as soon as possible for this first EuroLeague match at the adidas arena for the 2025-2026 season.
