Paris defeats Dijon
In comeback mode in the third quarter on Sunday afternoon, our Parisians turned the tide against Dijon in a frenzied adidas arena (97-92).
Paris is back on the winning track! After two consecutive league defeats (Le Mans – Monaco), the reigning French champions capitalized on Sunday’s home game against Dijon.
A mission that was far from accomplished. As usual, our Parisians dominated the paint, as evidenced by their +7 rebound advantage at the end of the first quarter. But the visitors had more than one trick up their sleeve. Forced to play small ball, Dijon pounded away from behind the arc, shooting nearly 73% (11/15). As a result, our players headed into the locker room trailing by three possessions (40-49).
But once back on the court, Paris pulled out the fire extinguisher and put out Dijon’s three-point fire. Better still, Seba Herrera and Nadir Hifi (17 and 22 points) took advantage of this to inflict a +18 in the third quarter, while Ismaël Bako continued his work in the paint. Back in the game, our Parisians rode their momentum in a CRAZY money time to end their losing streak in Betclic ÉLITE.
