Mahé: “ Developing a playing identity ”
Our Espoirs made their debut at the adidas arena last Sunday against Dijon. It was an opportunity for coach Julien Mahé to take stock of the start of the season.
Our Espoirs did not disappoint. Despite a huge third quarter, Paris lost this battle for the championship podium against Dijon. Julien Mahé, who joined the Parisian bench this summer, took the opportunity to comment on this first month of competition.
” Since the restart, I’ve been proud to see how the Espoirs are progressing. We’ve shown in spells that we can compete with very strong teams. But we have room for improvement, so I’m still pretty happy about that. (…) We’re really trying to stick to our principles of play, to develop a real style, a real identity. For now, we’re in the middle of the table. But I think it’s reasonable to say that the trophy of the future is a possible goal. “
