Our Espoirs also win in Dunkirk
This weekend, our Espoirs made a successful debut by defeating Gravelines (71-81). It was a promising start for the young players of the capital’s club.
A few hours before our first team’s demonstration (66-109) last Saturday, Paris Basketball’s Espoirs set the tone. Away at the Dewerdt stadium, our young talents fully lived up to their status.
They took control of the game from the outset. By halftime, Ilian Moungalla’s teammates were already four possessions ahead. It was a comfortable lead, but it slipped away somewhat after the break. At the start of the fourth quarter, Paris was only leading by three points !
But thanks to Marko Aleksic, who was in MVP mode with 17 points and a rating of 19, our Espoirs kept their cool. The final score of 71-81 is very promising for the rest of the season.
Speaking of the future, our young Parisians will travel to Le Mans this Saturday, October 4, at 1:30 p.m.
