Hifi and Bako already back in Paris

Hifi and Bako are making their COMEBACK! On Eurobasket duty since the end of August, our two players returned to the capital on Wednesday, just a few days before the Neofytos Chandriotis tournament.

While our Parisian players were back in training to prepare for the 2025-2026 season, Nadir Hifi and Ismaël Bako were missing… And for good reason: our two players had been selected for their respective national teams.

Teammates at club level but opponents on the court, our two players even faced each other in their opening game of the competition (92-64 for France). And while Ismaël Bako’s Lions ultimately fell just one point short of the final phase, Nadir Hifi’s Bleus finished at the top of their group. That was before our Tricolores were eliminated in the round of 16 against Georgia last Sunday.

Now, our point guard and centre will be lighting up the court in Paris Basketball jerseys. They will do so at 6:45 p.m. this Friday at the Neofytos Chandriotis tournament in Cyprus against Red Star Belgrade. This will be followed two days later by a clash with Olympiacos at 4:30 p.m.
