Paris Pulls Ahead Against JL Bourg

Thanks to a perfectly synchronized team performance and an outstanding game from TJ Shorts, Paris Basketball has taken a commanding lead in their semifinal series against JL Bourg. This crucial win gives the capital club three chances to clinch a spot in the finals.

ONLY ONE LEFT ! In a high-energy showdown, Paris Basketball claimed Game 2 of their semifinal against JL Bourg with a 117–103 victory. In the first half, the two teams traded blows in a true basketball slugfest. TJ Shorts (34 points, 11 assists, 43 efficiency rating) stepped up first to answer the Burgians’ attacks… before handing the torch to Maodo Lô, deadly from beyond the arc and monstrous on defense. A true energizer, our German international set the tone for his teammates, keeping Paris in the game and allowing the team to play their style of basketball. At halftime, only two points separated the two teams (HT: 55–57).

After the break, Paris switched to “total destruction” mode. Led by a fiery quartet of Hifi, Shorts, Lô, and Ward (who combined for 92 points), Tiago Splitter’s men hit the gas and completely dismantled the opposing defense. Crossovers, three-pointers, alley-oops, huge dunks—the show was on full display for Omar Sy’s debut as the new co-owner of Paris Basketball. Even after taking the lead, Paris kept their foot on the gas, pushing JL Bourg further underwater. Fueled by unrelenting energy and the massive support of the adidas Arena, the capital’s players completed their masterpiece with a thunderous dunk from Tyson Ward, brilliantly set up by our chief MVP, who recorded the 10th-best performance in Betclic ELITE history.

This win is of monumental importance, as it gives Paris a 2–0 lead in the series before heading to Ekinox with full confidence and one clear goal: qualifying for the finals !
