Tuomas Iisalo: “I can’t complain about the effort”.

On Saturday afternoon, minutes after the defeat to Le Portel, coach Tuomas Iisalo told reporters:

“We’ll need to watch the game again on video to find out what really went wrong. Despite everything, we’re very disappointed with the result. Everyone knows that the lads put up a good fight, but that didn’t enable us to win today. We’re at a very difficult moment because we’re playing 2 or 3 games a week, and we’re already playing again on Monday against Lille in the Coupe de France. I’m very pleased that we’ve been able to sign Mehdy (Ngouama, who arrived at the club during the week after training with the club all summer), as it gives us more bench depth and energy. Even so, I can’t complain about the guys’ effort and intensity.”
