The programme 

Rise Up is a programme dedicated to children who are in hospital or in remission, designed to offer them a moment of light-heartedness and wonder at the adidas arena. Developed in close collaboration with hospitals, each visit is tailor-made to meet the specific needs of these children, who often face a difficult and restrictive daily life. 

For the duration of a match, they enjoy a unique experience: an exclusive tour of the arena, a meet-and-greet with the players, a pre-match guard of honour and, for some, a special moment on the court at the end of the match. All these moments are designed to allow them to escape their everyday reality and fully experience the intensity and magic of a match night. 

Rise Up thus addresses a twofold challenge: offering children an escape and a moment of pure enjoyment, whilst also enabling their families to come together and share a moment as a family, away from the hospital, in an environment designed to make their time away from hospital as comfortable as possible.

The beneficiaries 

The programme is aimed at children who are in hospital or in remission, as well as their families, who are invited to enjoy this experience together. Each event is organised in collaboration with hospital staff, who understand each child’s specific needs and enable us to tailor every detail of the evening accordingly.
