Jeremy Morgan’s biography
In the Morgan family, everyone plays basketball. And son Jeremy is no exception to the rule. Quite the contrary. He went on to impress in his home state, then excel in his country, before making his mark across the Atlantic. Born on 8 May 1995 in Coralville, United States, his talent did not go unnoticed for long. The young forward arrived in the NCAA as the Iowa Gatorade MVP.
Jeremy Morgan fully embraced his role as a nationally recognised prospect with the Northern Iowa Panthers. He distinguished himself over four seasons, earning two spots on the MVC All Defensive Team, one nomination to the 2nd All-MVC Team, and one MVC tournament title with a place in the competition’s starting five. Although the Coralville native has yet to taste the professional world, his trophy cabinet is already well stocked.
But despite averaging 14.8 points in his last dance in the NCAA, the Memphis Grizzlies opted for the G-League option. In the NBA’s antechamber, Jeremy Morgan performed for the Memphis Hustle during his rookie campaign. However, after arriving in the summer of 2018, the forward made a 180-degree turn towards Kouvot in Finland, a league that quickly became too small for him. On the other hand, the Basketball Bundesliga caught his eye. More specifically, the Crailsheim Merlins of a certain… Tuomas Iisalo!
Jeremy Morgan is also having a blast in Germany. Alongside his future teammate Sébastian Herrera, the forward lets his shooting do the talking. After a spell in Italy, where he discovered the European scene, the American joined Tuomas Iisalo’s Bonn team. With TJ Shorts at point guard, Tyson Ward on the opposite wing and Leon Kratzer, Bonn won game after game, eventually lifting the prestigious Basketball Champions League trophy. And in this crazy adventure, Jeremy Morgan’s 14 points per game average in his last regular season weighed heavily in the balance.
And when this victorious team headed to Paris Basketball in the summer of 2023, he also signed in France… but in Bourg! In the Ain region, our new recruit became one of the leaders of the team driven by national coach Frédéric Fauthoux.
After a stint with Hapoel Jerusalem, Jeremy Morgan decided to settle down at Paris Basketball. An XXL signing for a player who perfectly embodies our Club’s up-tempo philosophy.
What role will Jeremy Morgan play for Paris Basketball in the 2025-2026 season
Elite sniper. Instinctive shooter. A fan of catch and shoot from the car park. When Jeremy Morgan steps onto the court, the ‘Bang! Bang! Bang!’ shots come thick and fast. His comfort zone is behind the hoop. And he made that very clear this season, shooting 45% from 3-point range. He is simply coming off his best season in terms of accuracy. A major weapon for a team as ambitious as ours.
