A clash of rising stars against Bourg

Published on November 8, 2026

A clash of rising stars between Nadir Hifi’s Paris Basketball and Nathan Soliman’s JL Bourg-en-Bresse this Sunday at the adidas arene on Matchday 7 of the league. Tip-off is at 4.30 pm !

Until recently, Paris Basketball was seen as JL’s ultimate nemesis. Whenever our Parisians faced Frédérique Fauthoux’s side, the game would invariably go our way. The 2024 EuroCup final, the 2024 play-off semi-finals, the 2025 play-off semi-finals… It was not until February 2026 – after 10 consecutive defeats – that Bourg finally broke the spell against the capital club.

An intense rivalry that the adidas arena knows only too well. Although, for one of the first times since our arrival in the top flight, LJ are in poor form. Despite the presence of NBA prospect Nathan Solima, Bourg has a poor record, having lost three of their last four matches in France. This is in stark contrast to Paris Basketball, who are currently top of the league. Not to mention our sparkling form in the EuroLeague.
