Paris regains first place

Our Parisian players were on cloud nine, determined to seize first place in Nationale 1 against Bourges. It was a clash between the two main forces of the season, a clash of styles between our ironclad defense and their formidable opponents’ offense.

In front of their home crowd, our players delivered a phenomenal performance. Also in great form during this second half of the season, Bourges posed problems for Paris. Their ball-handling skills hurt us, but we held on. Our women’s team managed to make this a hard-fought match. This was a strength for Awa Sissoko’s teammates, whose superior physicality and athleticism quickly overwhelmed the visitors. Paris Basketball held Bourges to under 70 points, proved much stronger in the closing minutes, and cruised to a well-deserved victory!
