Paris is promoted to National 1 !

THEY DID IT ! One week after their impressive victory over Estaires (83-36), the Paris Basketball women’s team has officially been promoted to Nationale 1 for next season!

Our 2025-2026 women’s team will forever be remembered as the first to earn promotion for Paris Basketball. Although promotion seemed on the horizon following our 83-36 victory over our direct rival, nothing was mathematically certain yet. At least, not until last Saturday.

The scenario was simple: if Estaires beat Bourges, our Parisian team needed to secure at least one win in their final two games. On the other hand, the opposite outcome would have definitively sealed the fate of this season. And that’s exactly what happened! Their 78-66 loss automatically propels us into the top division. Because even though Bourges has one more point than us in the standings, the fact that they are a development team prevents them from advancing to Nationale 1.

Once again, congratulations to our players and our entire staff for this tremendous achievement. Coming off a first half of the season where Paris Basketball was just off the podium, this exceptional team found the resources needed to literally crush the competition in 2026.

We hope to see many of you this Saturday at 5 p.m. in the annex of the adidas arena to properly celebrate this promotion alongside a superb basketball game against none other than the current leader, Bourges.
