Serbian fever takes Paris by storm

Serbian passion is set to ignite the adidas Arena! This Thursday at 8:45 p.m., Paris Basketball hosts Partizan Belgrade for the 32nd round of the EuroLeague.

Ready for the thrill of a lifetime? With Partizan and its fans arriving in the capital, the game promises to be electric. In the stands, the whole of Europe is familiar with the extreme passion of Serbian fans. And on the court, Isaac Bonga’s squad is a far cry from the team Paris beat in October 2025 (101-83).

A mini-earthquake struck Belgrade when Željko Obradović resigned in the middle of this season. Replaced on short notice by Joan Peñarroya, the team’s early flashes of brilliance bear the hallmarks of Obradović’s style. Playing with greater daring, this squad is putting together a second half of the season worthy of a “play-in contender.” Paris Basketball is far from being left behind, as prior to its crushing defeat against Hapoel Tel Aviv (82-93), our club had won four of its last five EuroLeague games.
