Lionel Jospin : 1937 – 2026

It is with great sadness that Paris Basketball learned this Monday morning of the passing of Lionel Jospin – former Prime Minister of France.

A regular at the adidas Arena, Lionel Jospin attended many Paris Basketball games, admitting to having become a devoted fan. The club always identified with his ideals and values, championing diversity, inclusion, and above all, a love of sport, particularly basketball.

Paris Basketball extends its deepest condolences to Lionel Jospin’s family and friends.
