Dokossi : “I’m working on myself”

Allan Dokossi shared his initial thoughts following Thursday night’s 81-90 loss to Partizan Belgrade in the 32nd round of the EuroLeague.

In front of a large home crowd, Paris Basketball put up a tough physical fight against the Serbian champions. It was a frustrating result for our center: “I think we made too many mistakes compared to Partizan. We had a lot of turnovers, which they managed to turn into points. That cost us the game.”

Even though victory slipped through our fingers, Allan has still been in good form lately. The man himself explains his rise in form: “I’m working on myself, especially mentally. And then, I try not to overthink things before games and to keep doing what I do best. That’s why I was signed, and I think that’s what flipped the switch in my head.”

Facing a noisy visiting crowd, our fans rose to the occasion in the stands. Our Parisian player praised their tremendous support: “Thanks again! Thanks for being here. Thanks for supporting us. The season is a long one. Don’t lose heart because we’re not losing ours. See you at the next match.”

Speaking of what’s next, Paris Basketball invites you to join them this Sunday against JL Bourg to wrap up the month of March on a high note. To be part of the action, just click here.
