Hero of the game : Raising awareness about endometriosis
On the occasion of our women’s team’s opening game against Paris Basketball – Nancy, our Foundation decided to shine a light on a subject that is still too little known through the association Info-Endométriose.
It was a rather special Hero of the Game on Sunday, February 7. As on every Betclic ÉLITE game day, an association took the floor at the adidas arena during halftime. But this time, our mobilization took on a whole new dimension.
For several years now, Info-Endométriose has been informing, raising awareness, and supporting people affected by this chronic disease that affects millions of women. The goal of this invitation was clear: to raise awareness of an often invisible condition, promote understanding, and encourage discussion.
This message resonated all the more because, for the second time this season, our women’s team played their league game just a few hours before our men’s team. This initiative reflects Paris Basketball’s desire to combine social engagement with sporting programming. To our great delight, our fans turned out in force for both games!
Fans, players, and partners alike took part in a joint effort that went beyond the sporting result.
The Hero of the Game initiative aims to extend far beyond the courts of the adidas arena. It reflects our ongoing commitment to transforming sport into a lever for engagement and responsibility.
