Paris treats fans to a feast against Anadolu

WHAT A MONEY TIME ! Paris Basketball won 79-84 at the end of Wednesday night’s game in Istanbul against Anadolu Efes in the 20th round of the EuroLeague.

From the outset, Anadolu decided to play uptempo, much like us ! Fast breaks initiated by Saben Lee in his debut with the Turkish club hurt us. But that was only to get us sorted out on our side. The teams traded blows in the first quarter. Trailing at the start of the second quarter (21-19), Jared Rhoden led the way for his teammates : steals, blocks, long-range shots… He gave them the TOTAL !

Paris Basketball’s pressure without the ball made life hell for the Turkish guards. In 20 minutes, our players reduced Andalou Efes to just two shots from the parking lot and 12 turnovers. Paris started the third quarter in the lead (39-40), with the two teams literally trading blows (64-65).

In this little game, the Parisians, who were unstoppable in the paint, held their own against the home team. The money time was UNBREATHABLE. And on a shot by Nadir Hifi (27 points in 20 minutes), a big step-back as usual, Paris won the game (79-84)! A victory that did the Parisians good before returning to the adidas arena on Tuesday.
