Hero of the Game: the essentials can be found at the Heart of Sport

Because it is always good to remember that sport should be accessible in all its forms, on Thursday evening the Paris Basketball Foundation highlighted the Au Cœur du Sport association.

BASKETBALL as a synonym for INCLUSION! As part of our Hero of the Game initiative, Au Cœur du Sport spoke during the half-time break of this clash against Monaco.

For several years, this association has been promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of sport: competition, leisure and spectating. This initiative is particularly evident in the transformation of the sport into an activity that is accessible, visible and inclusive.

Au Cœur du Sport works to ensure that sport is not a reserved space, but a place open to all. Facilitating access to sport, supporting people’s journeys, promoting people with disabilities… The actions are as numerous as they are diverse. However, they can be summed up in three key words: autonomy, confidence and participation in social life.
