Paris extinguishes the Red Star
PARIS BASKETBALL ON FIRE AT THE ACCOR ARENA! In a red-hot atmosphere on Tuesday evening, our Parisians dominated Red Star Belgrade (102-92).
Paris ended the year in the best possible way! In the 18th round of the EuroLeague, Paris Basketball concluded its Christmas Week with a duel against Red Star Belgrade. The game drew the second-largest crowd in the club’s history, with more than 12,400 people in attendance.
Our Parisians set the Accor Arena alight from the outset! Facing taller Serbian opponents, Paris used its pace to completely outplay them. Full-court pressure and lightning-fast transitions combined to give us a +10 lead at the end of the first quarter (28-18). Belgrade couldn’t find a solution (11 turnovers in 15 minutes), while our players kept pushing the pace.
Fortunately for Red Star, Chima Moneke had a great night and saved the day just before the break (51-46). This was not enough to discourage Paris Basketball, with five players scoring more than 10 points. As tough on defence as they were unstoppable on offence, Jared Rhoden’s team, in OPEN TOMAR mode, improved their lead at the start of the fourth quarter (79-58). The offensive festival continued until the final whistle (102-92).

The Belgrade slayers will return home on 13 January 2026 for a championship clash against SIG Strasbourg. Get your tickets now by clicking on this link.
