Paris defeat in Monaco
Paris Basketball had a EuroLeague matchday 14 to forget after losing 125-104 in Monaco on Thursday evening.
Following Tuesday’s French Cup round of 16 match, Paris Basketball returned to the Principality on Thursday for EuroLeague action.
Facing the competition’s last finalist, Paris deployed its devastating up-tempo game during the first quarter. With a 4/5 three-point shooting percentage, our players even took control of the game thanks to an impressive run. However, this frenetic pace slowed down at the start of the second quarter, which benefited Monaco.
Precise in their passing (29 assists) and uncompromising on catch-and-shoot (17/28 from three-point range), the home side started the second half in the lead (58-46). Led by Jared Rhoden with 22 points, our Parisians tried to close the gap without much success (125-104). Paris Basketball now turns its attention to Žalgiris Kaunas, its next EuroLeague home game.

But our French champions will be back at the adidas arena on Sunday at 7pm to face Saint-Quentin. Don’t miss out on the last few tickets available by clicking on this link.
