Cruel scenario for Paris

After a completely crazy money time, Paris Basketball stumbled on ASVEL’s court on Tuesday evening in the 19th round of the EuroLeague (94-89).

There was a French touch right from the start with two very physical teams. While our Parisians made life difficult for the opposing guards, the latter immediately responded in the paint. It was a neck-and-neck game won by Paris, who shot 5/10 from the parking lot in the first quarter (20-23). More incisive on the offensive rebound, ASVEL took the lead at the start of the second quarter (34-32). Justin Robinson chose this moment to provoke fouls and multiply his assists on pick-and-rolls.

Nevertheless, the game remained close after the break (41-46). ASVEL continued to play tough defense, but Paris Basketball responded ! Better still, Seba Herrera‘s teammates absorbed the home team’s run and took the lead at the very end of the third quarter (61-64). Led into crunch time, our players didn’t let up. Paris trailed by one possession with three seconds left (92-89)… before finally losing 94-89.

Our Parisians will kick off 2026 at the adidas arena on January 13 in a Betclic ÉLITE clash against SIG Strasbourg. Reserve your seats by clicking on this link.
