Christmas charity event at the adidas arena

With the festive season approaching, the Paris Basketball Foundation has placed solidarity at the heart of its activities by joining forces with Secours Populaire.

Teddy bear toss, Hero of the Game… As part of Christmas Days and the national ‘Green Santa’ campaign organised by the LNB, Secours Populaire was honoured during our Christmas Game against Cholet. This was done through a number of initiatives.

Just before tip-off, Paris Basketball held its annual soft toy toss. This outpouring of generosity from our supporters once again provided us with a memorable moment.

At the same time, 24 children supported by Secours Populaire enjoyed a unique Paris Basketball experience. In addition to attending the match, they took to the court alongside the players… before receiving gifts! It was a magical moment, marked by a spirit of sharing.

And because commitment deserves to be highlighted, Secours Populaire was also named Hero of the Game for the evening. During half-time, the charity presented its work and its daily commitment to helping the most vulnerable members of society. All this while reminding everyone of the importance of solidarity, particularly at this time of year.
