Paris narrowly loses to Bayern

Despite a huge comeback in the third quarter, Paris Basketball lost to Bayern Munich on Thursday evening (82-86).

How frustrating! More than a week later, Paris Basketball returned to EuroLeague action at the adidas arena on the ninth day of the regular season. It was a clash against Spencer Dinwiddie’s Bayern Munich.

While Munich impressed with their rebounding, our Parisians responded immediately with sharp drives. With 56% shooting from beyond the arc in the first quarter, Bayern took the lead thanks to some big runs. Despite their shaky shooting, Paris adapted and drew up to nine fouls in the second quarter, while Justin Robinson racked up 14 points in less than 20 minutes.

But the momentum shifted! In just a few possessions, Francesco Tabellini’s team closed the 11-point gap. Once again skilful, Seba Herrera and Nadir Hifi sent the adidas arena into a frenzy! With just two possessions left, Paris Basketball ultimately let the victory slip away.
