Paris back on the podium

In a hostile atmosphere, Paris Basketball defeated Boulazac (73-94) on the sixth day of Betclic ÉLITE.

In their first Palio match this Sunday, our players secured their third consecutive league victory.

Right from the start, the home team forced Betclic ÉLITE’s third-best defence into an offensive game. This was a scenario that Francesco Tabellini’s team relished, with devastating breaks, particularly on pick and rolls. In response, the Boulazac players racked up long-range shots. Shooting 57% from behind the arc in the first 10 minutes, Boulazac held their own against their opponents.

Finally… until Paris Basketball decided to step up the intensity. Suffocating in the second quarter, our Parisians reduced Boulazac to just three baskets (two and three points combined). Ahead at the break (45-49), Jeremy Morgan’s teammates, playing tight defence, rallied to resist BBD’s comeback. At the end of a particularly scrappy game (16 fouls in the second quarter), Paris clinched a precious victory.

Currently ranked in the top three of Betclic ÉLITE, Paris Basketball will be back in front of its home crowd next Thursday for a unique football match against Bayern Munich ! Secure your tickets by clicking here.
