Paris and Sogaris commit to a good cause
Last Wednesday, players and staff from Paris Basketball visited our partner Sogaris to lend a hand to Emmaus.
When basketball rallies for a good cause! Led by Sogaris, a leader in urban logistics, Paris Basketball lent a hand to the Banque Solidaire de l’Équipement (Solidarity Equipment Bank) for an afternoon. This initiative, launched by Emmaüs Défi, aims to tackle the challenges of poor housing and precarious living conditions.
In a Sogaris warehouse made available to Emmaüs, Touty Gandega, Aminata Dosso and Ines Salahy (Paris Basketball players) helped assemble furniture for the most vulnerable households. Accompanied by employees from our business department, Paris Basketball actively lent a hand to the association’s volunteers. It was an enriching afternoon in every way, ending with a basketball game led by our players!
This mutual aid provided to the most disadvantaged reflects the values promoted by Paris Basketball and Sogaris.
Because beyond being a sport, basketball encourages and highlights solidarity initiatives.
